Wings HC Arlanda

The Wings HC Arlanda is a Swedish professional ice hockey club established in 1973 from Märsta. The team plays in Division 1

History

The association was created in 1973 by the merger of the Hockey Club Rosersberg and Arlanda. During the first two decades, the association played in accordance with the two fusion clubs as RA - 73rd In 1992 it was renamed the Arlanda Wings HC, 2008, the name in Wings HC Arlanda was changed. This was chosen based on the lying near Stockholm-Arlanda Airport.

During the 1990s, the men's team the Wings took multiple part in the then Division 1 second-rate. Since the turn of the millennium the team has established itself in the now third-rate Division 1.
