Wollaston (MBTA-Station)

Wollaston is the name of a metro station of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority ( MBTA ) in the homonymous district of Quincy, Massachusetts in the United States. It provides access to the Braintree branch of the Red Line line.

History

The station Wollaston was built in the style of brutalism and opened together with the stations North Quincy and Quincy Center in 1971.

Building

The metro station is located at the intersection of Beale Street and Newport Avenue. He has not yet been renovated and is therefore not the only station of the Red Line accessible.
