Wynyard, Tasmania

The place Wynyard with about 4,800 inhabitants, is located on the coastline in the northwest of the state of Tasmania, the largest island of Australia. It is 66 km from Devonport and 18 km from Burnie.

The population of the town is working as fishermen, tourists or on the surrounding tulip fields or in the nearby town of Burnie.

In the Inglis River, which flows through the town and opens into the ocean, can be fished. There is a small anchorage for fishing and sailing boats in the river.
