Yu Mengyu

Yu Mengyu ( born August 18, 1989) is a Singaporean table tennis player. She won a bronze medal in doubles at the 2013 World Cup.

Career

Since 2006, Yu Mengyu occurs in international tournaments. Many successes it achieved in the Doppelwettbwerben where she started usually with Sun Beibei Feng Tianwei or. In 2009, she came at the ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals in doubles with Sun Beibei the semi-finals, 2012, she won the competition on the side of Feng Tianwei. At the Asia Championships 2007, she was third in doubles (with Sun Beibei ) and second in the team competition, in 2009 she won a silver medal with the team. She won gold at the Southeast Asian Games in 2007 and 2009 both in a double with Sun Beibei as well with the team. At the Commonwealth Championships in 2009 she reached the final in single, double, she won with Sun Beibei. Also at the 2010 Commonwealth Games she lost the singles final and won with the team.

Since 2008, she participated in all all World Championships ( 2013 ). Here she won the women's team in Singapore in 2008 and 2012 silver and 2010 gold. 2013, it took in a double with Feng Tianwei bronze.

Currently (2013 ) plays Yu Mengyu the French club TT Saint -Quentin.
