Yunaska Island

Yunaska Iceland ( aleutian: Chiĝulax ) is one of the Aleutian Islands, a chain of islands between North America and Asia, and the Islands of Four Mountains the largest island. At 173 km ², 23 km long and about 5.5 km wide island, there are two volcanoes, which are separated by a valley. From the western, a 950 m high stratovolcano, to date no outbreak is known. The eastern, a 500 m high shield volcano is demonstrably the last time erupted in 1937.
