Yuval Steinitz

Yuval Steinitz (Hebrew יובל שטייניץ; born April 10, 1958 in Ramot HaShavim, Israel) is an Israeli politician of the Likud. He was Finance Minister from 2009 to 2013 and since 2013 Minister for International Relations.

Biography

After schooling, he studied philosophy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA Philosophy) and a Master of Arts ( MA Philosophy) with distinction. In addition, he earned a Philosophiae Doctor ( Ph.D.) at the University of Tel Aviv and received for his thesis the Alon price.

Steinitz, who did his military service in the Golani Brigade of the Israeli Defense Forces and Reservist Alexandroni Brigade was later awarded Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Haifa and twice with the title "Outstanding Lecturer".
