Zálužice

Zálužice ( German Saluschitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located four kilometers east of Žatec and belongs to Okres Louny.

Geography

Zálužice is located in the North Bohemian basin on the left side of Eger in a loop of the river opposite the mouth of the Blšanka ( Goldbach ). To the west runs the railway line Praha- Chomutov, there is also the station Trnovany. In the south the road II/225 Žatec passes by Louny. Right-hand side of Eger and Blšanka there are two bunkers lines of Czechoslovak Walls.

Neighboring towns are Rybňany and Selibice in the north, Dolejší Hůrky, Lišany and Hradiště in the northeast, Stekník in the east, and Drahomyšl Dubčany to the southeast, and Liběšice Dobříčany in the south, Trnovany and Perec in the southwest, Žatec in the west and Bezděkov in the northwest.

History

Zálužice was first mentioned in 1517, when the city Saaz bought a half of the village of Wenzel Lobkowicz hate stone. In 1588 the whole village was back in the owner of the Lords of Lobkowicz on Líčkov. Other owners were 1594-1625 the Hruska of Brezno. 1787 acquired the Prince Schwarzenberg, the goods and they joined to their rule Postelberg.

After the abolition of patrimonial Salluschitz / Zálužice formed in 1850 a municipality in the district of Saaz. Saluschitz is a traditional Hopfenbauort. At the Paris Exposition of Saluschitzer hop was awarded in 1855 for its excellent quality with a silver medal. 1930 Saluschitz had 119 inhabitants. In 1934 a reinforced concrete bridge over the Eger was born. After the Munich Agreement in 1938, the site added to the German Reich and belonged until 1945 to the district Saaz. 1939 lived 104 people in the community. After the end of World War II Zálužice came back to Czechoslovakia and the German population was expelled. Since 1961 Zálužice belongs to Okres Louny, at the same time Rybňany and Stekník were incorporated. Between 1981 and 1992 Zálužice was a district of Žatec. Since 1993, the community is again.

The district Stekník was protected as a village-like monument zone.

Community structure

The municipality consists of the villages Zálužice Rybňany ( Ribnian ) Stekník ( Steknitz ) and Zálužice ( Saluschitz ), at the same time also form Katastralbezirke.

Attractions

  • Rococo palace Stekník who built 1650 building acquired its present appearance in the 18th century, in front of the castle is a terraced castle garden

  • Rybňany Castle, built in 1804 by Jacob Devechi instead of a fortress from the 1533 Baroque castle was destroyed in the Great Fire of Local 1902. Josephine Burgstaller, who inherited the ruins in 1904, leaving the building in the Swiss style rebuild. After the expropriation in 1945 the castle came to the Research Institute of hops that made the building fall. In the Castle Garden is a newly built multi-storey dovecote.
  • Dobříčany Castle, built for the 1620 Christoph von Hrobschitz from a Fixed Renaissance castle passed in 1623 into the possession of Francis Clary de Riva and was remodeled in the baroque 18th century. It was until 1945 owned by the family of Zessner - top mountain and is now in a ruinous state.
