Žetale ( German Schiltern ) is a municipality in the region Spodnja Lower Styria in Slovenia

The community Žetale lies on the border with Croatia in the wine -growing region Haloze. In the villages, consisting of 5 total municipality in 1406 people. 1218 Žetale was first mentioned in writing. 1853 began the industrial coal mining.
