Zhang Anda

Zhang Anda (Chinese张 安达, Pinyin Zhang Anda, born December 25, 1991) is a Chinese snooker player.

Career

Zhang Anda comes from Guangzhou, his parents own there a table tennis club.

He won the ACBS Asian Under -21 Championship and qualified for the snooker main tour. After a rather inconspicuous season he made a complete surprise qualification for the World Snooker Championships 2010 in Sheffield, as he was able to prevail in the four qualifying rounds against Craig Steadman, John Parrott, Andrew Higginson and Ricky Walden. At the World Cup, he left in the first round after a 9:10 against the seven-time world champion Stephen Hendry.

After a disappointing 2010/11 season he had to leave the main tour again. He managed to return for the 2012/13 season. He qualified because of his final feed at the U21 Asia Championship 2012, where he benefited from the fact that the winner Hossein Vafaei is already qualified by other means for the professional tour and he nachrückte thus.
