Zliv

Zliv ( German Sliw ) is a city in the South Bohemian Region, Czech Republic. It is located 10 km north west of Ceske Budejovice and 4 km west of Hluboká, between the creek fed by Soudský Bezdrev Pond ( third largest pond in the Czech Republic), the Zlivský pond and the Mydlovarský pond. The 3706 population inhabiting 665 houses on an area of 1421 hectares. Through the city performs the important railway line 190 of the Czech railway from Budweis to Pilsen.
