Zsolt LÅ‘w

Zsolt Lőw [ ʒolt Lø ː v] ( born April 29, 1979 in Budapest) is a Hungarian former football player.

He began his football career at the Budapest club Újpest FC. At age 17 he made his debut in the first team at the UEFA Cup match against FC Bruges. In 2002 he won the Hungarian Cup with Újpest FC.

In 2002 he moved to Bundesliga Energie Cottbus. Here he completed 31 games and increased at the end of the season from Cottbus in the Bundesliga 2. Lőw stayed with the Lusatians and completed in the next two seasons, a total of 48 second-division matches and scored five goals. For the season 2005/ 06 changed Lőw to league rivals Hansa Rostock and completed eleven games.

After only one season, he left the Hanseatic League and joined the regional league team TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. He came eleven times used and increased with the Badeners as the runner- up in the 2nd Bundesliga. 2008 Hoffenheim he achieved promotion to the Bundesliga. For the second half of the season 2008/ 09 changed Lőw 1 FSV Mainz 05 At the end of his contract in 2011, he finished his professional career, since he was no longer capable of physical exertion.

He played mainly as a left defender, but also acted in the left midfield or as a central defender.

For the Hungarian national football team, he played 25 times and scored one goal.
