Arlie Schardt

Arlie Schardt (actually Alfred E. Schardt, born April 24, 1895 in Milwaukee, † March 2, 1980 in Clearwater, Florida) was an American middle and long distance runners.

In 1920 he finished fifth at the U.S. Championships in the mile run. In the same year he came in the team's run over 3000 meters of the Olympic Games in Antwerp in third place and won with Horace Brown ( 1 ) and Ivan Dresser ( 6 ) the gold medal for the U.S. team.
