Howard Valentine

Howard Valentine ( born December 14, 1881 in Brooklyn, † June 25, 1932 in New York City ) was an American track and field athlete.

In the Summer Olympics 1904 in St. Louis An incoming for the New York Athletic Club Valentine won the gold medal in the team run over four miles. On the same day he was seventh in the 1500 meter race. A few days earlier he had behind James Lightbody become the silver medal in the 800 -meter run.

Valentine was 1903 and 1904 champion of the Amateur Athletic Union over 880 yards. He took part in the 1906 Summer Olympics in Athens, but different in both the 400 - meter dash and the 800 -meter run in the qualifier.
