Camini
Camini is an Italian town in the province of Reggio Calabria in Calabria with 720 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012).
Location and data
Camini is located 135 km northeast of Reggio Calabria. Another village is Ellera. The neighboring municipalities are Riace, Stignano and Stilo.
History
Since ancient times people settle here. The town's name probably derives from the chimneys of the pottery kilns.
Attractions
Worth seeing is the A Turri, a tower dating from the 16th century. In the church of Santa Maria Assunta in Cielo old frescoes can be seen.
