Dvorichna
Dworitschna (Ukrainian Дворічна; Russian Двуречная / Dwuretschnaja ) is an urban-type settlement in eastern Ukraine and the administrative center of the homonymous Rajons in the north of Kharkiv Oblast with about 4,200 inhabitants ( 2013).
Geography
Dworitschna lies 138 km northeast of the Oblastzentrums Kharkiv and 25 km north of Kupjansk at the mouth of Nyschnja Dworitschna in the Oskol.

History
Dworitschna was founded in 1660 in the historical region of the "Wild Field" at the geographical and historical border between Russia and Ukraine, in order to protect the population from the attacks of Tatars. In 1923 the village was the administrative center of the newly established Rajons. The village was occupied on 24 June 1942 to February 2, 1943 by troops of the Wehrmacht. 1960 Dworitschna received the status of an urban-type settlement.

Founded in 1923 and managed by Dworitschna from Rajon Dworitschna has an area of 1112.35 km ² and a population of about 18,500 inhabitants. It is bordered to the north for a distance of 40 km of the Russian Oblast Belgorod and on the east by the members of the Luhansk Oblast Raion Trojizke. The population density is 17 inhabitants per Rajon km ².
