Liubotyn
Ljubotyn (Ukrainian Люботин; Russian Люботин / Lyubotin ) is a city in Ukraine with about 20,000 inhabitants ( 2013). The town is a spa town and a railway junction in the Oblast Kharkiv.
Geography
Ljubotyn lies on the River Ljubotynka (Ukrainian Люботинка ), a tributary of the Udy, 24 km west of Oblastzentrums Kharkiv. In the north of the city clips the highway M 03, a section of European route 40, the urban area. On the railway line Borschschti -Kharkiv the Odeska Salisnyzja Ljubotyn is connected with a railway station.

History
Founded in the mid-50s of the seventeenth century on a river island, Ljubotyn received city status in 1938 and since 1993 has been a city of regional significance. Of 20 October 1941 to 29 August 1943, the city of troops of the Wehrmacht was occupied.
