FIL European Luge Natural Track Championships 1971

The second FIL natural track luge European championship was held from 26 to 28 February 1971 in Vandans in Austria. The Austrian team won both single-seat heritage advertising and eight of nine medals, the Italian team won in doubles.

Single Seater Men

After her triple victory at the first European Championship in the previous year, the Austrian team succeeded this year, a six -fold victory in the men's single-seater. Two-seater

In doubles, the Italians were victorious Siegfried Graber and Joseph Niedermair, which thus won the only medal at the European Championships in Italy. The silver medal went to Anton and Gabriel Obernosterer. Anton Obernosterer was European champion in the prior year Joseph Lexer. Third place went wild Siegfried and Othmar Hofer.
