FIL European Luge Natural Track Championships 1975
The 5th FIL natural track luge European championship was held from 5 to 9 February 1975 in Feld am See in Austria. The toboggan run " Mirnock 73 " had a length of 1094.5 meters.
Single Seater Men
The Austrian Alfred Kogler became European champion in the men's single-seater. The silver medal was won by defending champion Erich Graber from Italy, became European Champion in doubles with Robert Jud. Bronze went to the Austrian Helmut Hutter.
Single Seater Ladies
As I walked in the first four European championships this year the title in the Women's Singles at Austria and for the fourth time in a row won by the Austrians all three medals. Klara Niedertscheider that was back in 1971 and 1974 European champion, won for the third time the gold medal. The silver medal went to Anne Marie Ebner, who had also won silver in 1971 and bronze in 1974. The bronze medal won Elfriede Pirkmann who was European Champion in 1973 and in the previous second.
Two-seater
The Italians Robert Jud and Erich Graber, who had already reached the second place in the previous year, were European champions in doubles. The silver medal won by the Austrians Engelbert Fox and Gottfried Kreuzer, bronze went to their compatriots Ernst Stangl and Erwin Eichelberger.
