FIL European Luge Natural Track Championships 1983
The 10th FIL Luge Natural Track Championship was held from 2 to 6 February 1983 in St. Konrad in Austria.

Single Seater Men
For the third time in a row just Italians stood on the podium in the men's singles. Otto Bachmann was able to defend his title and was the second time European champions. The silver medal won Martin Jud and bronze went to Andreas Jud, the European Champion in doubles.
Single Seater Ladies
European champion in the women's single seater was the 17 -year-old Ingeborg Inner Hofer of Austria. She won the race ahead of Irmgard Lanthaler and the defending champion Delia Vaudan, both from Italy.
Two-seater
The Italian Andreas Jud and Günther Steinhauser became European Champion in doubles. Jud had already won together with Ernst upper hammer in the previous year the World Cup. The silver medal won their countrymen Raimund Pigneter and Georg Antholz. Pigneter was 1980 World Champion together with Oswald Pörnbacher. The bronze medal won Roland Trattnig and Harald Rabitsch from Austria. For them it was the only medal at major events.
