FIL European Luge Natural Track Championships 1999
The 18th FIL natural track luge European championship was held to 14 February 1999 at the Polish Szczyrk of 12.

Single Seater Men
The Italians Anton Blasbichler was for the second time after 1993, European champion in single seaters. Second place went to Austrian Robert Batkowski, who won his first medal at major events. Also for the third-placed Gerald Kallan, also from Austria, it was the first medal at championships.
Single Seater Ladies
The Italian Sonja Steinacher was European champion in the women's single-seater. At the last European Championships she won the bronze medal. The silver medal won by the Austrian Elvira woodcutter, who was also second in the last European Championship. The third-placed Christa Gietl won their first European Championship medal. In the previous year they had already been second in the World Championship.
Two-seater
The Austrians Andi and Helmut Ruetz became the third consecutive European Champion in doubles. They were the first doubles pair to have managed. Silver went to their compatriots Peter Lechner and Peter Brown Egger, who won her first medal at championships. Also for the third-placed Armin and David Mair was the first medal.
