- 0483: The married deacon Felix is selected with the approval of King Odoacer as Bishop of Rome.
- 1528: The monastery of Interlaken, the largest landowner in the Oberland is canceled after the adoption of the Bernese Reformation mandate of 7 February 1528 its territory incorporated into the Canton of Bern. After Bern now demands the duties of the population at the monastery itself, break at once from the Oberland Reformation unrest.
