Ouanary

Ouanary is a commune in the Overseas Territory French Guiana to the north of South America. With 109 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) Ouanary is the smallest municipality in terms of population in French Guiana.

Geography

Ouanary located in the northeast of French Guiana, the little brook Ouanary, which opens shortly thereafter in the Oyapock. The main settlement is located in a small clearing in thee wooded hill country of Guyana. Ouanary is bordered on the east by Brazil, on the south by the municipality of Saint -Georges, in the west on Régina and to the north by the Atlantic Ocean.
