History
Wieskau was first documented in 1182.
Wieskau was formerly an independent municipality and belonged to manage Community Southern Anhalt, which had its headquarters in the town of Weißandt- Gölzau. To Wieskau part of the district Cattau.
The community Wieskau was incorporated January 1, 2010 by Southern Anhalt.
