Zanzibar national football team

The Zanzibari national football team is the national football team of Zanzibar, a semi -autonomous part of State of the East African country of Tanzania. The Zanzibar Football Association is an independent member of the African Football Confederation 2004 since January. She wants to reach the admission to FIFA.

History

In the context of the generally discharged annually CECAFA Cup ( Central and East African regional tournament ), the National Soccer Team of Zanzibar has held since 1949 numerous games.

Winning this tournament in 1995 is the biggest international success.
