1. FC Saarbrücken (women)

The first FC Saarbrücken is a German football club from the Saarland Saarbrücken. The Department of Women's Soccer was founded in 1997 by joining the VfR 09 Saarbrücken. The first team played a total of 16 years in the Bundesliga and the 2nd Bundesliga occurs since relegation in 2011 at South. In 2008 the team reached the final of the DFB - Pokal.

History

In 1997, the women's football department of the VfR joined 09 Saarbrücken closed over 1 FC Saarbrücken. After several years in the mid-table team should have a table Last descending 2001 actually.
