After an unsuccessful attempt to find work in Bayreuth comes, Bernardo Bellotto, called Canaletto in January to Vienna, where he will remain for two years. Built at this time a total of 13 images: Probably for the imperial court, six, conceived as pendants, created Viennese urban interiors, this two views of Schönbrunn Palace and Gardens, a panorama of the city from the Belvedere and four views of the castle courtyard.
