18th G7 summit

The G7 Summit in Munich took place from 6 to 8 July, first time in 1992 in Munich and for the third time in Germany, and was the 18th Conference of the Group of Seven.

Tough approach the police against demonstrators

The events surrounding demonstrations against the G-7 Summit in Munich went as so-called Munich a boiler in the police story. In the public eye encircled on 6 July 1992 to a thousand policemen were peacefully demonstrating G7 opponent in front of the coffee Dallmayr on Marienhof one. Over several hours, the demonstrators were detained there.

Later, the Munich police pulled individual demonstrators by force from the boiler. It was narrated from kicks and kidney punches. 480 people were arrested and led away in handcuffs. The former Bavarian Prime Minister Max Streibl commented on the process with the words "If one thinks he has to mess with Bayern, he must know that hard hinlangen is Bavarian style".
