1991–92 Bundesliga (women)
The Bundesliga 1991/92 was the second season of football league for women. The TSV Siegen was able to defend his title. In the final, the team beat the upstart Green-White Brauweiler 2-0.

Course of the season
Like last year, the TSV Siegen remained during the preliminary round undefeated. Only in Bergisch Gladbach and brewing hamlet had to be content with a draw. Brauweiler was the sensation Team of the Year. As a climber you immediately became second in the northern group and later secured the vice-championship. To date, Brauweiler is the strongest climber of all time. The doyen of Bergisch Gladbach and Duisburg lost slowly but surely gaining ground. Rheine made compared to the previous two places, during the previous year, Fourth of narrow- field had to dismount. Also Poppenbuettel who had saved themselves scarce in the previous year to accept relegation. No chance had the last DDR champion from Jena.
In the south, the finish of the preseason repeated: Frankfurt before Niedernkirchen and Saarbrücken. Sindelfingen made compared to the previous three places well. In contrast, Bayern Munich crashed seven places and finished last. The descent was decided on green table. Ulm / Neu- Ulm loosened his women's football department on compensation. First substitutes would have been Aue, but waived for financial reasons. This could Movers Ludwigsburg stay another year in the Bundesliga.

Scorer was again Heidi Mohr from TuS Niedernkirchen with 28 goals. A total of 629 goals ( average 2.86 ) fell 31 goals less than last year. In the northern group were 327 goals ( average 2.97 ), in the southern group 302 ( section 2.75).
