1992 Gulf Cup of Nations
The 11th Gulf Cup was held from November 27 to December 10, 1992 in Qatar instead. Winner of the tournament was hosted in Qatar. It was the first of two titles so far for Qatar.

At the finals the following six teams participated. Iraq was eliminated from the tournament because of the occupation of Kuwait.
