1993–94 Gambrinus liga

The first Fotbalová league 1993/94 (1st Football League 1993/94 ) was the first season of the highest Czech league in football, today's Gambrinus League. She was discharged August 14, 1993 to June 8, 1994 with a winter break of 29 November 1993 to 4 March 1994. 16 teams played a total of 30 game days divided into a back and a second round twice each against each other. A win there were two, one for a draw and a defeat for no point. Master was at the end of the season the team with the most points, relegated to the second league had the two teams with the least points.

Was established the first Czech league after the successful on 1 January 1993 separation of Czechoslovakia into two states, namely the Czech Republic and Slovakia. From the comprehensive 16 teams 1st Czechoslovak league, nine of the ten Czech teams qualified. From the Bohemian- Moravian group of the second Czechoslovak League, CFML, the six best teams were promoted to the new first league.

These were Viktoria Zizkov, Gera Drnovice, Viktoria Plzen, Union Cheb, Slovan Liberec and Zlín Svit. The seventh- placed LIAZ Jablonec had in the play-offs against the schlechtplatzierteste Czech team the first Czechoslovak League, FC Bohemians Prague and defeated with 1:1 and 0:2.

The first Czech football champions Sparta Prague was. The second place went to Slavia Prague. Descent had the FC Vitkovice Kovkor and Dukla Prague.
