1998â€“99 Latvian Hockey League season

The 1998/99 season was the eighth season of the Latvian Hockey League, the highest Latvian Hockey League. Champion for the third time in club history the HK Nik's Brih Riga.

Mode

In the main round of the seven teams completed twelve games. The top four teams qualified for the final round, in which the Master was played. The other three teams took part in a placement round. In the second phase, the season points from the main round were taken against respective opponents in the group stage for the second season. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
