2011–12 Latvian Hockey League season

The 2011/12 season was the 21st season of the Latvian Hockey League, the highest Latvian Hockey League. Champion for the seventh time total in club history the HK Liepaja Metalurgs.

Mode

In the main round of the ten teams each completed 36 games. The top six Latvian teams qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played. The top two teams were set directly for the semi-finals. Although the Lithuanian SC Energia was allowed to participate in the main round, but he was ruled out of the playoffs. For one victory after regulation time, each team received three points for a win after overtime, each team got two points for a loss after overtime there was a point and a defeat after regular time zero points.
