2009–10 Latvian Hockey League season

The 2009/10 season was the 19th season of the Latvian Hockey League, the highest Latvian Hockey League. Masters were for the first time in club history at all the Dinamo- Juniors Riga.

Mode

In the main round of the six teams each completed 30 games. The top four teams qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played. For the playoff semi-finals automatically qualify also were the two Latvian participants of the Belarusian Extraliga. For one victory after regulation time, each team received three points for a win after overtime, each team got two points for a loss after overtime there was a point and a defeat after regular time zero points.
