The first All-Star Game WNBA, the team won the Western Conference against the team of the Eastern Conference with 79:61. The first field throw in a WNBA All-Star Game scored Sheryl Swoopes of the Houston Comets. After the game, Lisa Leslie was appointed as the first player in the history of the WNBA most valuable player of the All- Star Games. Leslie was 17 minutes on the field, scoring 13 points and five rebounds.
