Beginning of 1918 strengthened the Supreme Command the German forces on the Western Front for a planned offensive (→ German Spring Offensive of 1918). These troops were brought from the Eastern Front, which were no longer needed there after the collapse of the Tsarist Empire. This was called from 8 February 1918 as Army High Command 19. It involved a headquarters in Saint- Avold. After the conclusion of the Armistice of Compiègne, the 19th Army withdrew from 15 November 1918 until she arrived in Maulbronn on 24 November 1918. There, the dressing was later resolved.
