Comments of the first three riders

"This is a great feeling, I have long ceased on the podium at the top. I've always wanted to win at Silverstone because it is one of the home race for West McLaren Mercedes. The car ran perfectly and the strategy it was no less. "

"My car ran today, unfortunately, not as I would have liked. I had a few problems, especially at the entrance to the Copse curve where I slipped several times. The car was not well balanced and I could not get the maximum so. At that time mattered to me but just that I keep the car on the track. As Mika then drove next to me I had nothing to oppose him. The strategy was, as always, a decision which the team met together. Another tactic would not necessarily change my opinion on the race result something. With the new tires we had unfortunately only able to gather little experience because on Friday I had a set of tires slashed and then the changing weather approached us. So it was not easy to find a proper strategy. Today we were just here not fast enough, however, the look different again in the next race. Whatever the situation in the championship is even now, I want to continue to win races. "

"I'm satisfied with this result, because this is my first time at Silverstone on the podium. I won a couple of positions at the start and make a pretty late pit stop was the best thing today. The car was not as balanced as I would like it to be honest it was totally different than it was here in testing. I am therefore driven very carefully, but I was still fast. Even with a lot of fuel on board, I have beaten me well. Output of Beckett was my car well, so I was able to keep Williams behind me. I then came to my pit stop before Montoya returned to the track and stopped in front of him, which was also due to the second set of tires, which was better. At the end I was able to get some rest myself even. To have scored two podiums in two races, what more could you want? I'm really happy. "
