2004–05 Egyptian Premier League

The Egyptian Premier League 2004 /05 was the 48th season of the Egyptian Premier League, the highest Egyptian championship in football since their introduction in 1948/49.

The climbers from the Egyptian Second Division 2003/ 04 were Suez Cement, El- Gaish SC and Assment Asyut. No longer represented in Egypt's top tier are Aswan SC, El Qanah Olympic FC and Koroum. Titleholder is al Ahly Cairo.

Mode

The Championship was held out of the 14 teams in the league system, each team played twice against every other team.

Participating teams

Overall, since 1948/49, took part in 64 different teams in the championship, but it was only al Ahly Cairo and al Zamalek SC to participate in all championships.
