2007–08 Egyptian Premier League
The Egyptian Premier League 2007 /08 was the 51th season of the Egyptian Premier League, the highest Egyptian championship in football since their introduction in 1948/49.
The climbers from the Egyptian Second Division 2006/ 07 were Itesalat, aluminum Nag Hammadi and Baladeyet El Mahalla. No longer represented in Egypt's top tier are Tanta FC, Asyut Petroleum and El - Olympi. Titleholder is al Ahly Cairo.
Mode
The Championship was held out of the 16 teams in the league system, each team played twice against every other team.
Participating teams
Overall, since 1948/49, took part in 64 different teams in the championship, but it was only al Ahly Cairo and al Zamalek SC to participate in all championships.
