2010–11 Egyptian Premier League
The Egyptian Premier League 2010/11 was the 54th season of the Egyptian Premier League, the highest Egyptian championship in football since their introduction in 1948/49.
The climbers from the Egyptian Second Division 2009/10 Wadi Degla FC Smouha Sporting Club and Misr El- Makasa. No longer represented in Egypt's top tier are Ghazl El Mahalla SC, El Mansoura SC and Asyut Petroleum. Titleholder is al Ahly Cairo.
Mode
The Championship was held out of the 16 teams in the league system, each team played twice against every other team.
Participating teams
Overall, since 1948/49, took part in 64 different teams in the championship, but it was only al Ahly Cairo and al Zamalek SC to participate in all championships.
