The 2006/07 season was the 70th season of the Hungarian Hockey League, the highest Hungarian Hockey League. Champion for the eighth time overall in club history Alba Volán Székesfehérvár.

Mode
In the main round each of the seven teams completed a total of 24 games. The top two finishers of the main round qualified directly for the playoffs, while the remaining five teams then identified the other two playoff participant in a qualifying round. The three non-qualified for the playoffs teams then denied a Placement Round to 5th place for a win after regulation time, each team received three points for a win after overtime there were two points in a defeat after overtime there was a point and at a defeat after regular time zero points.
