2008 Men's World Open Squash Championship
The 30 Squash World Cup (English PSA World Championship ) took the men from 11 to 19 October, 2008 Manchester in the United Kingdom. She was the most lucrative tournament in the PSA World Tour 2008.
Amr Shabana was defending champion, who reached the semi-finals this year. He defeated compatriot Ramy Ashour his Egyptian in five sets. Ashour won the final against Karim Darwish, also Egyptian, with 5:11, 11:8, 11:4 and 11:5. It was Ashours first world title.
The lineup for the men consisted of 64 players, including eight spaces for qualifiers. Per Wildcard Tom Richards was awarded a spot in the main draw.
