2010–11 FHL season

The 2010/11 season was the first regular season of the newly formed Federal Hockey League ( FHL ). The six teams should complete in the regular season of 60 matches. However, it was decided by the League leadership that the regular season is still to be completed in February 2011. The teams thus denied 35-47 encounters. Due to the relocation of the Broome County Barons of Chenango, New York to Cape Cod, Massachusetts this franchise had finally completed the fewest encounters of all teams. Then the Master was played in the playoffs. The Akwesasne Warriors sat in the finals against the New York Aviators through and won the Commissioner 's Cup.
