2011 NZIHL season

The 2011 season is the seventh season of the New Zealand Ice Hockey League, the highest New Zealand Ice Hockey League. Champion for the fourth time in club history Botany Swarm.

Mode

In the regular season, each of the five teams completed a total of 16 games. The top two teams will qualify for the championship final. For one victory after regulation time, each team receives three points for a win after overtime two points for a draw and one defeat after overtime and a point for one defeat after regular time zero points.
