2013 FIFA Ballon d'Or

The 58th Ballon d'Or (French for Golden Ball ) was awarded in 2013 for the fourth time together by the magazine France Football and the football 's world governing body FIFA, under the name FIFA Ballon d'Or. Because of low voter turnout, the period of voting has been extended from 14 to 29 November, 2013, so that the performance in the relegation matches the qualification could be considered for the World Cup. FIFA Media Director Walter de Gregorio, assured, however, that only the turnout were driven to " solid" 88 percent by the unusual procedure and that Cristiano Ronaldo would have been already winners.

After the three best players - even without their respective placement on the " podium " - were published in December, 2013, the announcement of the final results was held on January 13, 2014 at FIFA headquarters in Zurich. Winner of the Ballon d'Or in 2013 was Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese gained from voting 1,365 points and thus referred Lionel Messi ( 1,205 meters) and Franck Ribéry ( 1127 ), who were second and third respectively.
