8th Golden Raspberry Awards

The Golden Raspberry Awards 1988 ( 8th Annual Razzie Awards) was awarded on April 10, 1988, the eve of the Academy Awards at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles, California.

The most nominations in advance of the ceremony were Jaws - The billing and Tough Guys Do not Dance ( seven each ). The most awards received, however Bill Cosby - The Super Cannon ( three Golden Raspberries ), the film also was nominated for worst film of the year. Introduced just last year category for the Worst Special Effects was awarded this year for the last time. The Razzie in this category went to Jaws - The billing.
