25th Golden Raspberry Awards

The Golden Raspberry Awards 2005 ( 25th Annual Razzie Awards) was awarded on February 26, 2005, the eve of the Oscar ceremony at the Ivar Theatre in Hollywood. On the occasion of the 25th award a number of additional prices was awarded that cover aspects that can not be included in the annual awards.

Most awards were the films Catwoman and Fahrenheit 9/11, each with four trophies. To film the worst of the year also Catwoman was chosen. Catwoman had also received the most nominations in advance.

For the first time in the history of the Golden Raspberry, a film was excellent, the previously panned by the critics yet neither a financial flop was ( Fahrenheit 9 /11). Nominations for this film were high-ranking U.S. politicians ( George W. Bush, Condoleezza Rice and Donald Rumsfeld ) for their wrongdoing with respect to the terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001 and the Iraq war. Britney Spears also received for her statement - she trusted George W. Bush - in the film is also a Golden Raspberry.

Attention also attracted Halle Berry, who picked up their prize in person and an acceptance speech at the award ceremony held in which they parodied her Oscar speech of 2002. Recently took in 2002 Tom Green 's Freddy Got Fingered price for also personally received.
