A Moment Like This is a song by the American singer Kelly Clarkson, the first winner in the American television show American Idol. British singer Leona Lewis, the winner of The X Factor, 2006 recorded a cover version of the song, which was also able to place in the charts.
Formation
The piece was written by Jörgen Elofsson and John Reid (from the dance group Nightcrawlers ). Producers were Stephen Ferrera and Steve Mac. Originally it was written for the winner of the first American Idol season. Kelly Clarkson, Justin Guarini, Nikki McKibbin, and Tamyra Gray took on for a possible victory separate versions. In the final Guarini and Clarkson sang the song, also yet another piece ( Before Your Love ). After the Voting Guarini sang the piece and Clarkson Before Your Love. After the announcement of the results Clarkson sang the piece again.

A Moment Like This debuted with over 300,000 units sold at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was there holding two weeks. This is Clarkson's song the most successful single and her first number-one hit in the U.S.. The song was awarded in the U.S. with gold and platinum. It also reached number 1 in Canada After the song was released as a single in his Billboard Hot 100, the largest to date jumps up from number 52 succeeded at first the record of the 38 years earlier by the Beatles with Can 't Buy Me Love established replaced was over five years.
