Academia de Lenguas Mayas de Guatemala

The Academia de Lenguas Mayas de Guatemala ( ALMG ) ​​(translated: Guatemalan Academy of Mayan Languages ​​) is a government organization in Guatemala that regulates the use and writing of languages ​​spoken in the population of Guatemala Mayan languages ​​and promoted the culture of the Maya. It was founded on 18 October 1990.

The seat of the Academy is located at the place where the time of war and genocide, the Ministry of Defence had his residence.
