Adamov (Kutná Hora District)

Adamov ( German Admannsdorf ) is a municipality with 112 inhabitants ( 1 January 2004) in the Czech Republic. It is situated in 306 m asl 7 km south of Čáslav on the left bank of the Čáslavka and belongs to the Okres Kutná Hora.

History

Admannsdorf was established in 1784 in the corridors of Bratschitz to which it belonged to a district. Together with Bratčice the place was incorporated in 1960 by Potěhy. As a result of a referendum Adamov is an independent municipality since 1990.
