Aguilar de Campoo
Aguilar de Campoo is a Spanish municipality ( municipio ) of the Autonomous Community of Castile - Leon msnm in the province of Palencia 892. It has an area of 237 km ², population 7160 (2013 ) and a population density of 30 inhabitants per km ².
Location
The city is located 334 km north of Madrid on Aguilar Reservoir on the A 67 Aguilar de Campoo is a station on the northern route of the Camino de Santiago.

History
Alfonso X of Castile declared in 1255, the villa Realenga ( royal city). It retained this privilege until 1332.
